Corrymoor Mohair Socks www.corrymoor.com

If you want your feet to be warm in winter and cool in summer and odour free all the year round whatever activity you are doing, these are the socks for you. Corrymoor socks are made from mohair grown by Angora Goats at Corrymoor Farm in the heart of the Blackdown Hills.
The Diamond Fibre
Mohair is known as the “diamond fibre”, due to its strength and durability and wonderful lustre that can be dyed striking and vibrant colours. The fibres of mohair are 3 times more resistant to abrasion than are the fibres of sheep’s wool and so socks made with mohair are much more hardwearing .
No bacteria
Mohair fibres are smooth and don’t trap bacteria which cause smells and bad foot health
Made in Britain
The Angora goats produce a six inch fleece twice a year and this mohair is scoured, combed, spun and knitted into socks in Britain. Corrymoor Socks are available through mail order, by post, phone and online and at a number of outlets both locally and countrywide.

Chef Shed at Aller Farm
Creative foodie events by Tim Maddams

Four-course local seasonal dinners from £35.00 per person
Great food, ingredients and company in the midst of the beautiful Yarty Valley
BYO drinks, thoughts and laughter! The old shed at Aller farm is a rickety broken down, leakey space that plonks you firmly into the landscape. It’s unashamedly shabby but the food there is rapidly becoming well known. If you are open to trying a different dining experience then keep a look out for our 2018 dates being released in the spring, and come and join the table for a memorable evening.
