Councillor Tom Patch

It was with great sadness that the Parish Council met on February 26th just a week or so after the funeral of Tom Patch. There was a huge gathering for his funeral and many Stockland Parish councillors, present and past, paid their respects. Tom was a councillor for almost 40 years joining the council in 1979 and serving continuously until his ill health last year . He was a forthright Chairman of the council for many years when his local knowledge and wisdom were an essential part of its activities. He will be sadly missed by us all and the Parish Council extends its condolences to Nancy and her family.
