I think my gt gt gt grandfather owned Ridge House/Farm in the early 18th C. He was called John Scott and I think may be buried in Stockland. His son, was Edward Scott who became a surgeon and went to Australia where he became Mayor of Perth then returned to England in about 1904. Any further info about Scott family in Stockland greatly received.

I have a picture of Ridge House taken July 2009. My GGrand Parents rented Ridge Farm across the road, and came to the USA in 1851.
I live in Michigan USA but found cousins in England on this site in 2005 and went to Stockland July 2009.
