Stockland Genealogical Message Board: Post #284, 2006-06-26

In searching for my grandparents Bazley and Summers in Stockland, Devon, I am also trying to find anyone who had any connection with my grandfather's sister, her name was Lilly Bazley, b.abt. 1881, and I THINK she was married to a Charlie Strawbridge (definitely Strawbridge) and had a son, possibly Fred. She took over the licencee of The Phoenix Public House in Axminster after her husband died, in the 1930's and 1940's, possibly as late as the 1950's. Sorry it is so vague but apart from remembering visiting her as a child haven't anymore information. Any info would be appreciated. Pauline
