On the 1851 census my 3xGt Grandfather THOMAS FRAMPTON gave his place of birth as Stockland/Dorset(I believe Stockland then was in the county of Dorset??)My research into that has drawn a complete blank.Other surnames associated with my family at that time are; NEWMAN/GERRARD/FROST/MILLS. Any leads would be very much appreciated.THanks.
