Hello, just sent your reply, been trying to see wwho left a comment on my question, and the site would not show me, kept trying and bingo found you.
Would like to know more about the link with the Hoare family side.
My family were spread around.
My great grand father came to Bridgend around 1898 and his name was Thomas Hoare, he had 3 sisters Flora who was born in Hawkchurch, Emily born in Whitchurch, Mary born Uplyme.
He also had 3 brothers, Alfred born Purtington, Walter born Courcey Hawkchurch, and George born in Compyne.
The father to these children was Thomas Hoare and his wife was Emma Willer, this name was a nightmare to find, mis spelt over and over again.
My 2x great grand father was John Hoare a thatcher in Stockland and he married Charlotte Cooke from Dowlish Wake.
Many brother and sister not yet linked, could there be a link somewhere.

Dear Kieron,
I am researching the Hoare family but so far Stockland has not come up. They have lived variously at Buckland St Mary, Staple Fitzpaine, Chard all of which are close to Stockland. If this is of interest, I can give lots more detail.
Best wishes,
H. Parry
